Lid for Holding Furnaces manufactured by Ace Automation
Engineers is a compressed air operated, insulated lid
that covers the furnace during idle cycle. This substantially
reduces the power required for heating the furnace thus
cutting down the power consumption. The lid has an efficient
ceramic wool insulation and low friction temperature resistant
seals. It has operator friendly, hands free control as
the lid opens rapidly on pressing a foot pedal and closes
after a pre-set adjustable time interval. The lid can
be rotated out of the way for degassing/ metal tapping.
Rapid opening of the lid prevents production loss.
